In Oklahoma, Not Arizona, Why Does It Matter?
I grew up in Ottawa, Oklahoma. I'm a Southern kind of guy I guess you could say. We stayed kept to ourselves in good old Okie, though who could blame you when half your neighbors are scum and the other half are snobs. That's pretty much to be expected though with only 700 or so families living in one area for miles. I guess in my life I've not had many chances at romance though there have been a few. My life's mostly been about raising a farm and taking care of gran; When I wasn't doing that I was reading or studying.My parents weren't ever around to show me who I'm supposed to be, and my grams did her damn best to try and shape me but since she's passed I've managed to take her values and flow with them.
I caught a free scholar ship to North Eastern University in Boston Massachusetts lived in and out of dorms, learned a few tricks and here I am today. I have three successful company locations for my newly rising Architecture firm: One in Manhattan, New York, one in New Haven, Connecticut, and One in Boston Massachusetts. I have to say out of all the places I never felt more at home than in Salem just a few miles out of Mass. I settled down here, bought a pooch and a home and I brought my old kitty for the ride. I really miss grams some times but all I have to do is close my eyes and I have a memory of her. All I have to do is live by the values she instilled in me and take care of myself and I know she'd be proud of me. That's good enough.
So Now that I've got a new home, and a new doggie, where's the nearest hot spot where all the beautiful girls go? I don't see to many at the beatnik places I often visit.
